Description
 The Only Animal presents: NiXWritten and Directed by Kendra Fanconi Snow and Ice Set Design and Sculpting by Carl Schlichting* Lighting Design by William Hales* Bundle up and enter Canada's first theatre of snow and ice. This theatrical adventure, a BC premiere, follows two survivors and an arsonist through the fireworks at the end of the world. NiX is a frozen fantasy, complete with a flaming tuba, a snowman death scene and an explosive love story that will melt the coldest of hearts. Presented with Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad *Winner of the Betty Mitchell award for our 2009 Calgary premiere. NiX was also nominated for outstanding costume design, best new play and best production. |

The Only Animal is running buses from Vancouver to Whistler on JANUARY 22, 24, 26,27,28, for an additional cost of $20. Please choose the 'Ticket and Travel' Option to book this same-day, roundtrip bus travel. Audience members based in Vancouver and elsewhere are encouraged to come to see NiX in January, when private car travel is unrestricted, and the above bus option is available. Unless you have overnight accommodation in Whistler with a parking spot, or Olympic Sports Tickets, there are limited transportation options for Vancouver-based audiences in February, because of travel restrictions on the Sea-to-Sky highway. Greyhound does not run a late enough service to take audience back to Vancouver after the show. There are private shuttles available. In the space provided please enter the audience member's name, email, and phone number: we will email you with shuttle instructions, reminders what to wear, and in the unlikely event of cancellation due to extreme weather. We will not abuse your privacy. Tickets are refundable in event of producer cancellation. Allow extra time for travel and enjoying pre-show libations at our exclusive snow and ice bar, the only one of its kind in Whistler. Access is by shuttle, cross-country ski, or snowshoe. There is no parking at our venue. |
