Whistler Public Art Project

James Smith won the competition to complete a Valley Trail public art project. His concept focused on use of recycled materials, the bicycle culture of Whistler and including a public involvement process.

Here's some photos of the weekend public involvement process in the Village: The 'feathering' of the birds involved drilling bits of bike tires onto the recycled plastic wood core.
